VISIBLE LEARNING - A Window to the Work
This inquiry began with the invitation to participate in an open, online course to discover more about personalized learning. There are several elements required for successful completion and I will collect and share these contributions here. This will also be a collection of resources and references relevant to this topic.

During this first week, we were introduced to the topics, the course content, a schedule of activities for the five weeks, and introduced ourselves to the other participants. I created an interactive map to build community since I was amazed at the global reach of this MOOC.
For this week's activities, I created a concept map, engaged in twitter, participated in a padlet discussion wrote a blog post, posted in the discussion forum and responded to other's posts.
I choose module three since it looked at developing personal learning plans. This involved reading, writing a discussion post, responding to discussion posts, creating a personalized learning plan template and sharing it. Optional tasks included tweets & a twitter chat.
I selected module five - teaching strategies for personalized learning. First I brainstormed ideas. Then I created digital content (web site page) to outline a personalized plan. I shared this plan in the discussion forum, adding an explanation and a question. Then I commented on work submitted by others.

For the final week of this course, I worked to create an open-work project that connected to my own instruction. It continued from the personal learning plans created in week three and extended the teaching strategies begun in week four. I also participated in reviewing and capturing links to some of the projects and materials that others had created and shared.
